CBI should probe Adarsh scam 'in entirety' - PIL

A PIL has been filed in the Bombay High Court asking that the CBI probe the Adarsh Housing case 'in entirety' and not just the role of defence officials in the scam.
City-based activist Simpreet Singh requested the court to direct the CBI to take over the "entire case, instead of probing the roles of only the defence ministry officials".

"Three Chief Ministers, namely, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Vilasrao Deshmukh and Ashok Chavan are likely to get affected.
That being so, it may be very tough for the Maharashtra State Anti-Corruption Bureau to investigate the case with impartiality," the PIL said.
The petition is likely to come up for hearing next week.
