2. In pursuance to the directions passed by this Court on 21.4.2011, the appellant United India Insurance Co. Ltd. has already deposited the amount of Rs.1,17,907/- and Rs.93,147/- in these appeals respectively. The respondents-claimants are permitted to withdraw the said amounts.

3. Sudesh Kumar - the owner of the vehicle in question (who is Respondent No.5 and Respondent No.3 respectively in these appeals) is present in Court. He was directed to deposit 1/3rd of the amount of compensation as awarded by the Motor Accident Claims 2 Tribunal. Learned counsel appearing for Sudesh Kumar prays for some time to deposit the said amount. We direct that the 1/3rd of the award, amounting to Rs.3,61,801/- be deposited by Sudesh Kumar in two equal installments, the first installment be deposited on or before 30th June, 2011 and the second installment be deposited on or before 31st July, 2011. In case of default, the amount shall carry interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

4. The respondents-claimants are also permitted to withdraw the amount to be deposited by Sudesh Kumar.

5. The Registry is directed to release the amounts to the claimants after proper verification, as expeditiously as possible. With these observations and directions, these appeals are disposed of.
